FAQ

Q. What Type of instruments do you teach?

A. We teach private lessons for piano and guitar, both in 30 minute and 60 minute formats.

Q. What age students do you accept?

A. We acknowledge that every student is different and do not set a strict age limit on incoming students. Though, a typical rule of thumb is 5 years old and up.

Q. How Much do lessons cost per month?

A. We charge on a per lesson basis. 60 minute lessons cost $50 dollars, and 30 minute lessons cost $30. However, with bulk-buy options and the flexibility to space lessons out we can dial in a monthly cost that is just right for you and your family.

Q. What Happens if I miss my lesson time?

A. If the studio is notified at least 24-hours before the start of your next lesson, you will be granted an excused absence. This can be rescheduled for a make-up lesson within the duration of your current package.

Unexcused absences (no-shows) will not be refunded or made-up.

Q. How do I know if I need 30 minute or 60 minute lessons?

A. 30 minute lessons are designed for students that are brand new to music and typically on the younger side of the age spectrum. The shorter time-frame leaves them with a digestible amount of new things to practice until their next lesson.

60 minute lessons are designed for students who can focus on learning for the entire time, and are capable of digesting more information before their next lesson.

At Vogel Music Studios, first lessons are always free and we strive to have a full 60 minute session. At this first lesson, we will be able to learn which lesson type is right for you.

Q. What days can I schedule my lessons?

A. Vogel Music Studios operates on the weekends from noon, until 6:00 p.m. Lessons may be scheduled at anytime between 12:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. in 30 minute increments schedule permitting.
